Need some information on a Kabota B2150 4wd with hydro. Is this a 3 cyl. or 4 cyl. engine? I am told it is a 24HP. I am thinking about buying this unit. Asking price$14,000 with 400hrs. very clean, has a 60" mower and turf tires on it. Will a tractor this size handle a loader and brush cutter? I have never owned a compact tractor before, but will use for brush cutting occassional landscaping, and snow removal. Am I looking at the right tractor at the right price? Any comments and opinions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks and have a great day!! Larry

Larry, one of the other tractor tip boards says the B2150 is a 24 hp, 4 cylinder engine, 18 pto hp. I've never owned one, only a B7100HST (16 hp) and now a B2710HSD (27 hp), but from everything I've heard the B2150 is a fine little tractor, and yes Kubota had a front end loader for it and it will handle a 4 or 5' brush hog. Price seems a bit steep to me, but I'm no expert. Hopefully someone else will answer that question better. It may partially depend on where you are located. ....

I don't know anything about Kubota tractors except for the obvious color. I do know that I bought a new JD4100 hst, 4wd, dscv, with 60" mower deck for $14,000. The JD4100 is a 20 h.p. vs 24 h.p. A new loader for the JD4100 adds about $2,200 to the price. For a used tractor in this range without a loader the price seems high to me also. I feel confident the tractor will do what you have planned but you may want to work on the price. ....

Larry,We recently sold a B2150 that had all the options you've mentioned including bi-speed turn.Tractor had right at 600 hrs.also had LA350 loader,60" mid-mount mower,it had always been garage kept and had the very best of care.I sold it for $13,500,which I thought was a very good price. If I were you I,would make an offer of $12,000-12,500.I would'nt go much more than that,as the post said ,you can buy a new unit with factory warranty for about the same money. Also ,yes the 2150 is a very solid, dependable, compact, with a four cylinder engine that has plenty of power for ever you might use it for. ....

I bought a 2150 1.5 years ago for $12,500. It had 250 hrs, hsd, 4wd,ps, and a bush hog 1845QT loader. A week later I exchanged the ag tires for new, filled turf tires for another $100. I also bought a good used 60" kubota belly mower (RCB-60?)for $900. The sheet metal was in very good shape, although not perfect. It is a great little tractor and always amazes people at what it is capable of. The only negatives are the lack of ground clearance with the mower attached, and dim, actually very poorly designed, headlights. I checked into a rotary cutter this past summer and was told a 4' unit was as large as I should go. ....
